Acne Lasers Too Bright for Some

Acne scar removal now a days is often done with lasers.  Bad cases of acne can leave behind dark brown spots or even a wavy dark appearance on the skin from hard scarring. This resurfacing treatment can be excellent and masking and removing acne scars.  Also, the laser can increase collagen production in the surface of the temporarily improving wrinkles and age lines.  Who doesn’t want to look younger as well as prettier? Not all scarring is ideal for laser treatment, especially the deeper ice pick type scarring.  Unfortunately some people have problems with the laser.  Sometimes the skin acts as if it’s been badly sunburned or just doesn’t heal right.  Especially if you have sensitivities to the sun or bright lights you should raise your concerns with your doctor before you commit to the treatments.
