The watering, mowing, fertilising and chemical treatments that our grass is regularly subjected to makes it about as artificial as an artificial grass lawn. Why people get all holier than thou about other people installing synthetic grass lawn and then turning around, filling their lawnmowers with gas and then cutting their lawn to within an inch of its life is surely hypocritical behaviour.
They might then claim that they use the lawn clippings as a mulch, which is certainly very commendable except they have no idea much methane gas that produces and is released into the atmosphere.
Suffice it to say there are advantages and disadvantages to boast natural grass and synthetic grass, to claim otherwise is purely folly. Most people simply can’t accept new products or a change in the regular way of thinking.
