A Mental Shift Can Make Working Out Fun.

What is your workout program like?  Is it something you enjoy or something you hate?  Sometimes just changing the way you think about how you approach fitness can give you great results.   What I have noticed myself is that when I think working out is fun, I am WAY more likely to do it.  But when it is drudgery… then I will make up every excuse in the book to avoid it.

So how do you make the mental shift?  For me, I started looking at exercise as something I enjoyed doing and I structured it to be something I enjoy doing.  I walk and lift weight with my friends.  I go on hikes with my family, and I go swimming.  All of which I enjoy.  That way I look forward to working out and I stay fit.  What will your mental shift be?
