Attaching a porch awning is a pretty simple task. There are two kinds you will come across, and the first is the stand alone design. These are the easiest because there is no fitting involved, you simply build up the awning and it sits next to the motorhome. You can strap it to it, and this just means putting these straps over the top of the vehicle and securing them in place.
The second type of porch motorhome awnings are the custom fitted kinds. You can buy these as an additional piece of equipment, and they can be used on different awnings to suit. The brackets need to be put in place and then the top part of the awning can be attached to this. The process only takes about 15 minutes to set up, and after that you should be ok to fix in a few minutes.
