Technology has advanced a lot in the decade. It went from tape players to cd’s to mp3 players to iPods. DVD players have even advanced to Blu Ray players. So many things have advanced even printers.
Printers use to be big and bulky and would take up to five minutes to print a simple black and white document. As technology advanced printers got to be more advanced and got to be easier to use. Now instead of just printing a simple document most printers have scanners on them. Therefore, you can scan something and then print the same document out numerous times. Many printers even have faxes on them. Portable printers and scanners are now available to everyone.
You may wonder why anyone would need a portable printer and scanner. Well it’s fairly simple. With today’s world, almost everyone has a laptop. They bring the laptop to school, work, a friend’s house, the library and numerous other places. Some people even take their computer to the park. Because computers have become so portable it’s important to make sure that, you can bring something with you that can print whatever you need.
You don’t want to be stuck somewhere after you have done an assignment just to realize that you don’t have a way to print it. Of course, you could always buy a device that can store your work and then print it from another computer. However, that’s a lot of work. Having a printer that you can bring anywhere can make doing anything hassle free. Now it’s easy to lounge outside of the pool or at the park and do work while relaxing. After you have done whatever you need to do you can easily print it.
Portable printers and scanners are the newest technology for computers and laptops. They work just as well as big and bulky computers. They just require ink and paper to print out anything. They print in color, black and white or whatever you would like. The only difference between printers and scanners that you can bring anywhere is the size difference. Since they are smaller they’re more portable, but that doesn’t mean the quality decreases. They work great and everyone will be impressed when they see yours. It isn’t going to be very long before everyone carries with them a portable printer and scanner.
Maybe in a couple of years we won’t even be forced to bring those devices with us, but for now printers and scanners that we can bring anywhere are the newest technology.
