Antique tea pots have become more popular over the last century as the importance of collecting, trading and selling antique has risen.  The teapot has its origins in the early 1500s and from that point the collecting of antiques has been around.  There are Ming Dynasty Teapots, English teapots and Victorian teapots that make up many of those considered to be antiques.
