Is Wrecking Balm Tattoo Removal a Scam?

You’ve probably seen the commercials yourself for Wrecking Balm Tattoo Removal. This product does indeed make a grand claim: apply our lotion to just the top of your skin where you have a tattoo, and it will help remove the tattoo.

I’ve seen quite a few of information surrounding these creams, and I can’t decide if products like Wrecking Balm are a scam or just a cheap, slow method of fading and possibly removing a bad tattoo. Is there some kind of Wrecking Balm scam going on?

Looking at Tattoo Removal Creams

With the huge popularity of tattoos on both men and women and people of all ages, tattoo removal has become quite a big business. Most of the popular removal methods are quite expensive and painful. This would include laser tattoo removal, TCA chemical peels (dangerous and not really recommended any longer by most dermatologists!), and the rejuvi technique. The fact the a non-prescription, over the counter method that requires no pain solution is also around makes for an interesting contrast. I’m of course talking about tattoo removal creams.
