Why Is The Touch Screen Computer Becoming Popular?

Some people may ask the touch screen computer is becoming so popular.  I’ve thought about this long and hard and I think I’ve come up with an answer to that question.  In my opinion, the reason that so many manufacturers are jumping on the touch screen computer bandwagon is because of Apple computers.  You may be asking yourself what Apple computers has to do with touch screen computers since they don’t even have a Macintosh computer that has a touch screen built into it.

Slate PC vc Convertible Touch Screen Laptop

When it comes down to mobile touch screen computers there are two types that differ in their physical design. Both are fully functioning computers but the more popular consumer device is the convertible touch screen laptops. These come with a swivel screen that allows it to function both as a regular laptop as well as a touch screen tablet. The second type is the slate PC or tablet PC which is a solid state device and does not offer the same versatility of a convertible laptop.
